The Ghorepani - Poon Hill (Pun Hill) Trekking route which is located in Annapurna Himalaya region, is truly short foray in Annapurna of Nepal.The trek offers the spectacular mountain scenery along with charming inhabitants of this location, particularly, Gurungs & Magars. The dense rhododendron forests with full of birds and deep sub-tropical valleys are set below the Annapurnas range with the picturesque peak of Machhapuchhare (Fishtail Peak) dominating the skyline.
One of the important highlight of this trek is, to make a climb on Poon Hill, where form, possibly the most impressive sight of Himalaya range on Earth might be viewed. When sun rises, it touches the snow-capped summits of the giants Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Annapurna (8,091m) along with a range of other peaks; gradually appear, like magic that your eye could not believe.

Your Itinerary is:
Day 01
|
Upon arrival, meeting and assistance at the airport, transfer & check-in at hotel. Overnight at hotel. (you may have a side trip if time permit)

Day 02
|
After breakfast, drive to Phokara (Phedi) for 7 – 8 hours and hike up 2 hours to Dhampus and overnight at Dhampus.

Day 03
|
After breakfast, you will continue hike up Deaurali and descend down to Tolka. Your destination destination for today is a famous Gurung village, called Landruk at the altitude of 900 m.

Day 04
|
After breakfast, the trail descends down for almost half an hour through the rice field and cross the Madi river. From here, the trail ascends all the way up to Tandapani (2000 m.) through the famous Gurung village Ghandruk. Lunch will be on the way.

Day 05
|
Today you will trek through the thick deciduous and slightly coniferous forest up and down for 5 hours and the destination will be the gorgeous Ghorepani at the altitude of 2000 m.

Day 06
|
This morning you need to weak up early morning ( 4.30 AM) and hike up almost one hour ( to the Poon hill, 2400 m. the view point), to enjoy the sun rise on the magnificent Himalaya ( the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range). After you quench your thirst of the natural, you gently walk down to the Ghorepani, be fresh, pack up your baggage, take breakfast and descend all the way down for 4 - 5 hours to the altitude of 700m, Tirkhedhunga and spend night.

Day 07
|
You are permitted to sleep longer this morning to cover the yesterdays mornings sleep. Weak up, follow the daily routine and trek leisurely alone the Madi river to Birethanti for 3 hours and break for lunch. After lunch have gentle walk to the Nayapul for half an hour where you will be picked up by bus and drive to Pokhara, 45 km. Check in the hotel in Pokharal, free afternoon.

Day 08
|
In the morning, take breakfast and proceed driving to Kathmandu. Free afternoon in Kathmandu.

Day 09
|
After breakfast, proceed for a guided world Heritage sites tour of Kathmandu Durwar squire, Patan Durwar Squire and Tiebtian Camp and Shyambhunath Stupa. Over night at hotel.

Day 10
|
After breakfast, continue the Sightseeing some other world heritage sites. Such as Bhaktapur Durbar Squire, Pashupatinath temple and Boudhanath stupa.

Day 11
|
Today is the day to fly back to home. So, Proceed to the airport according to your flight time.
